CSM Program Joins ISA
In January 2015 the Computer-assisted Survey Methods (CSM) Program joined the Institute for Scientific Analysis. CSM was formerly a part of the Social Science Computing Lab of the University of California, Berkeley. ISA has an exclusive license agreement with the University of California to continue developing and distributing the CSM software.
The CSM software includes CASES, a system for the authoring of computer-assisted questionnaires and for the collection and processing of survey-related data. The CSM software also includes SDA, a widely used software package for the documentation and Web-based analysis of survey data. These software packages are currently used by a variety of organizations in the academic, governmental, and private sectors.
